"To infinity and beyond!" –Buzz Lightyear, Toy Story
I'm on a journey to simplicity and I've been learning things along the way. I'm guessing you could use a bit of simplicity too especially if you intend on doing the things that God asks you to do.
Like building your relationship with God.
Like serving others.
Like making disciples.
If I can help you simplify your life in order to accomplish these things, this blog would have done its job. Let's journey together.
In this blog, we'll cover topics such as life purpose, spiritual fulfillment, fruitfulness (aka productivity), wise spending, time management, downward mobility, and other issues surrounding simplicity. We'll be looking at things from a Biblical perspective to ensure that we're grounded in the values and teachings of Christ. I'll also include tips from myself and others who are currently experimenting on living a simple lifestyle.
If you have a tip or a story you'd like to share, feel free to contact me. I may even include it in a post. Feel free to bombard me with questions too. I'd be happy to bombard back.
New posts come out every Monday and Thursday.

Have you ever said these words before: “I’m too b-u-s-y”? Chances are you have. As a pastor, I’ve heard these words a gazillion times in the past. And that’s just from my own mouth. We seem to have complicated our lives so much that we don’t have the time, energy, and money to do the things that greatly matter to God.
Did you spend time with God today? I’m too busy.
Have you played with your kids? I’m too busy.
When are you going to mentor somebody? I’m too busy.
Why not take that new couple out to lunch? I’m too busy.
How about you get to know your neighbors? I’m too busy.
When are you going to start serving? I’m too busy.
And the list goes on and on like a thread that’s begun to unravel your shirt until you have no shirt left. How pleasant.
I’ve been on a journey to simplifying parts of my life so that I can begin to put more time, energy, and money into the things that greatly matter to God. And I believe that doing so will ultimately bring fulfillment in my life as a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ.
I write my thoughts on simplicity in this blog. I invite readers to share insights and to help unravel the complexity of simplicity. What an oxymoron.
“To simplicity and beyond.”
